Youth Worker – Swindon

Key Information – Youth Worker:

* Start Date: ASAP
* Hours: Full-time, 08:30–15:00 (Term-time only)
* Pay: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
* Location: Swindon

We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Swindon that supports students aged 11–16 with Autism and other complex learning needs. The school is seeking a compassionate and proactive Youth Worker to join their dedicated team as soon as possible.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and educational development of students. You'll collaborate closely with teachers and mental health professionals, making it an excellent opportunity for those considering a future career in education, psychology, or youth work.

A Youth Worker role will include:

* Providing classroom support on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
* Promoting emotional awareness and resilience
* Contributing to and implementing individual support strategies with the school team

The ideal Youth Worker will:

* Have previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
* Be enthusiastic, patient, and resilient
* Remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations
* Be committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people
* Have a genuine interest in supporting those with additional needs
