Mudassar has over 13 years Education Recruitment experience. He has supplied teachers and support staff to schools in the Leeds Wakefield and North Yorkshire areas and prides himself on his honest approach which has resulted in long lasting relationships with his schools and candidates alike. He has managed the Academics Leeds branch for 5 and half years now.
Mudassar is slightly obsessed with the gym and when not at work he can been seen in the gym (on his lunchbreaks and after work!)- oh and he has 3 children who keep him busy on weekends!
Alison Leaworthy
Alison has nearly 25 years’ experience in Education Recruitment. She began work in the Wetherby area in 2000 and has worked across most of West and North Yorkshire. Being Wakefield born and bred Alison knows the area very well and she has managed the Catholic Diocesan Supply Service for the last 15 years.
Alison prides herself on her dedication to the schools she works with and her ability to foster strong lasting relationships showcasing her sociable and professional manner.
Alison has 2 children and in her spare time she is either watching her son play rugby league or her daughter cheerleading she also enjoys a night out watching musical theatre.
Sophie Punt
Sophie has been with Academics since 2022 as the primary consultant for Wakefield and is excited to develop her career in education recruitment with Academics. Sophie has a strong customer service background and prides herself on building long lasting professional relationships.
Outside of work you will find her jumping around at gigs as she loves live music and bands. The best band she has seen live was The Who but her favourite band of all time are The Beatles!
