Dale Wyatt
Dale’s has over 7 years’ experience in recruitment, having started his career with a strong 3 years in healthcare recruitment before moving to his true calling of education. Having graduated from The University of Chichester with a degree in Sports Science, Dale aspired to become a PE Teacher himself before falling into the world or work and paying bills. Dale enjoyed developing relationships with secondary schools before moving to Academics in 2019. Having initially joined for a new challenge of working with primary schools, Dale pro-actively called upon his healthcare experience to further his expertise and developed relationships with local SEN schools during the pandemic.
In his spare time, Dale coaches football and is heavily involved with community projects around the club. For his sins, he supports Watford FC and also follows local club Dorking Wanderers.
Luke Malin
Luke has over 2.5 years’ experience in recruitment, beginning his career within the life science recruitment (Pharmaceutical and Biotech clients) across Europe. Luke was inspired to move into education recruitment with Academics in May 2024 having supported his cousin with SEMH challenges and also through hearing about the sector through close friends in teaching.
Luke enjoys keeping active outside of work having been boxing and playing football from a young age. He has had experience coaching within boxing and has a strong belief that children that stay active outside of school perform better within, which is another key area he tries to promote to Secondary Schools.
In Luke’s spare time, he likes the gym, boxing and going out and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Saffron Cooper
Saffron is a Law graduate from the University of Portsmouth. Having graduated, she gained 2 years’ experience as a paralegal before deciding her true calling was recruitment where she can utilise her bubbly personality and love for a chat. Saffron has particular expertise in SEMH with a younger sister who has struggled with ADHD and anxiety.
She also studied Criminology and L3 Health & Social care at sixth form which has made her transition to SEN recruitment seamless.
In her spare time, Saffron loves a boogie in a field and frequents festivals during the summer, whilst travelling and enjoying learning different cultures all year round.
