Meet the Teaching Agency in Warrington
Academics’ teaching agency in Warrington have been helping teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors to find suitable local daily supply, long term cover or permanent work for more 10 years. From our Warrington office, we work directly with primary schools, secondary schools and SEND schools in Warrington, St Helens, Lancashire, Wigan, Halton and Cheshire and we’re confident that we can help you find your perfect teaching job or support staff role, whether that’s a permanent post, a long-term contract, or flexible, regular temporary work and daily supply jobs.
We welcome applications from enthusiastic people who enjoy improving the lives of children and young people through good teaching, good subject knowledge, confident classroom management and a flexible approach to the needs of the school. Whether you’re starting your career in education and would like to work as a teaching assistant or cover supervisor, or you’re a semi-retired teacher and want flexible supply work (and all teachers and support staff in between) we want to hear from you.
We offer professional and friendly support, competitive pay rates, knowledge of the local area, career advice and updates on the education sector.
Rachael joined the team as the new Academics Warrington Branch Manager in February 2017, and will be focussing on driving change to be office to enable our supply teachers the very best teaching jobs through Warrington and the surrounding areas. Rachael came to Academics with 12 years education recruitment experience and has supported schools through various changes including, academisation, cover supervisors and workforce reform, Agency Worker Regulations, various education ministers and government initiatives, Ofsted inspections, a spike in the birth rate and the teacher shortage. Rachael is the child of a secondary headteacher and a primary teacher, so was raised to be sympathetic to teachers needs - and after 12 years still enjoys finding the perfect teacher or member of support staff for a school, whether it’s for that day, that week, or forever. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her beagle Mr Charles Bingley, watching costume dramas and cooking unusual food.
