Academics in Berkshire is a growing education supply agency for teachers and support staff, located in Winnersh Triangle. After great success across most of England and Wales, Academics branched out into Berkshire, Swindon and Oxfordshire to ensure we were providing a thorough and personal service to our candidates and clients along the M4 corridor. We provide daily supply, long-term and permanent teaching opportunities for teachers, both from the UK and overseas, as well as offering Graduate TA, Classroom Support and SEN TA positions.

Abigail Ralph Abigail Price

Abi Price has been committed to her role in providing the highest quality service to both candidates and schools since joining the company in 2016. After specialising in supporting South-West London schools for 4 years, Abi moved internally to lead the launch of the Berkshire office and establish Academics across the M4 corridor. She has a particular specialism in supporting Primary Mainstream Schools as well as SEN settings including local PRUs, ASD units and SEMH schools in Berkshire. Abi values honesty and integrity above all and uses this to build trusting relationships with both her client schools and the teachers and TA’s she supports. Outside of work, she spends her time training in the gym and planning her next holiday!

Sam Alozie Sam Alozie

Sam joined Academics after working in education himself as a Primary School Teacher. Sam specialised in Year One and Two, were he found the development of his class extremely rewarding. Sam supported numerous children with SEND, and learned how to effectively support them academically and emotionally. Since joining Academics as a Resourcer, Sam has been focusing on Mainstream Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Sam is now the Mainstream Primary Consultant for Oxfordshire and enjoys finding high quality candidates for schools. He is excited to bring outstanding staff into schools and develop throughout the company.

You could say Sam’s positivity has been built from supporting Liverpool and their recent success. Although, just like his colleague Cameron he is humbled by supporting England.

Lydia Allen Lydia Allen

Lydia joined Team Reading in September 2022 and is now the Team Leader for SEN. Before joining Academics, Lydia worked for Children in Need, supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs, as well as working as an LSA.

She now puts her SEN knowledge to good use, finding passionate teachers and support staff who truly want to make a difference!

Lydia prides herself for being organised and loves a spreadsheet! In her spare time, she enjoys a trip to the pub and rewatching Gavin & Stacey.

Natasha Vieira Natasha Vieira

Natasha joined the team in early 2023 after working in the education industry herself as a Teaching Assistant and ABA therapist. Originally from sunny South Africa, she moved across the globe chasing greener pastures and greyer skies. Her background as a Teaching Assistant has honed her skills of spotting great talent in the education sector and she now works as the office Resourcer where she connects talented individuals with their dream opportunities. In her spare time Natasha likes to unwind by watching the trashiest of TV shows and eating food with her chef husband.

Ryan Pike Ryan Pike

Ryan joined Academics as a Secondary Consultant, having previously spent the last 5 years resourcing in Financial Services recruitment. Ryan’s focus is on recruitment in the Secondary sector in the Oxfordshire and Wiltshire areas. In his spare time Ryan is a football coach for two local teams and is massively into his football supporting Arsenal.

Daisy Moxon Daisy Moxon

Daisy is the main consultant for Primary schools across the whole of Oxfordshire. She studied English Literature at the University of Reading and brings a strong passion for education and connecting talented individuals with rewarding roles.

Daisy is always on the lookout for fantastic new Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Support Staff for both long- and short-term placements, as well as permanent positions. She works to ensure that every candidate finds the right fit and that every school receives the support they need to provide exceptional education to their pupils.

In her free time, Daisy loves spending time with her horse and hamster, and enjoys going on walks in the countryside.

Edward Bungay Edward Bungay

Ed is an SEN Consultant supporting SEN settings across Berkshire. He studied Law with German and German Law at the University of Nottingham, which included a year abroad in Austria.

Ed specialises in recruitment within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) sector, focusing on sourcing Specialist Teaching Assistants, as well as SEN Teachers for temporary and permanent roles. With his own background in education, Ed draws on firsthand experience to guide and support his candidate search, ensuring the best possible fit for both schools and professionals.

Outside of work, he enjoys reading, learning new languages, and is a passionate Manchester United fan.

Will Field Will Field

Will is the Secondary Consultant across Bracknell, Wokingham, Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough. He studied Business Management with Marketing at Swansea University.

Will specialises in recruitment within the Secondary sector, focused on sourcing Teachers, Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisors into both temporary and permanent roles. Will has a background in education as a PE teacher which has given him a fantastic understanding of what works in schools and how to identify the right type of person for a specific school.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing rugby, going for coffee, and watching films.
