Job Opportunity: Compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant – Term-Time Role

Position: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Location: Mansfield
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Do you have a heart for supporting children with additional needs? Academics Agency is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist school that helps students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, SEMH, anxiety, and other learning differences.

We need someone who is patient, adaptable, and truly invested in helping young people overcome barriers to learning. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, encouraging space where every child can succeed.

Your Responsibilities:

* Offer one-on-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, adapting to their unique needs.
* Help implement EHCPs and individual behaviour strategies to promote progress.
* Develop meaningful connections with students to boost engagement and self-esteem.
* Encourage independence while providing the right level of assistance.
* Work alongside teachers to foster an inclusive, structured learning environment.

Requirements:

* Previous experience supporting children or young adults with SEN (in school or similar settings).
