As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects, assist with classroom routines, and help create a positive learning environment. Your role will be essential in promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Key Details:
• Gloucester
• Mainstream Primary
• Daily Pay: £85–£95 (dependent on experience)
• A valid enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to apply through Academics Ltd)
• Must provide references covering the last two years
• Full-time, term-time only position
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils needing additional help
• Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) using tailored strategies
• Assist with preparing resources and general classroom administration
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote social and emotional development
