Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We’re looking for a patient, enthusiastic, and proactive ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic all-through specialist school in Maidenhead.

About the Role:
You’ll be working with students aged 5 to 16, offering one-to-one and small group support to help pupils with ASD access learning, build social skills, and manage day-to-day school life. The role is varied, rewarding, and a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful difference at every stage of a child’s education.

What You’ll Be Doing:
✨ Supporting children and young people with ASD across primary and secondary classes
✨ Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
✨ Assisting with emotional regulation, sensory strategies and behaviour support
✨ Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic care

Why This Role Matters:
ASD presents differently for every young person, and this role offers the chance to support students at key moments in their development — whether it’s a breakthrough in communication, a boost in confidence, or mastering a new skill. You’ll be part of a team that celebrates those milestones, big and small.

What’s in It for You?
✔️ Experience working across both primary and secondary age groups

✅ Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with young people
✅ Experience working with children or young people with autism (desirable but not essential)
✅ Available to start full-time ASAP
