Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We’re looking for a patient, enthusiastic, and proactive ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic all-through specialist school in Maidenhead.
About the Role:
You’ll be working with students aged 5 to 16, offering one-to-one and small group support to help pupils with ASD access learning, build social skills, and manage day-to-day school life. The role is varied, rewarding, and a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful difference at every stage of a child’s education.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✨ Supporting children and young people with ASD across primary and secondary classes
✨ Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
✨ Assisting with emotional regulation, sensory strategies and behaviour support
✨ Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic care
