Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Academics are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across special educational needs (SEN) schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers the opportunity to work with children who have a variety of learning challenges, including autism (ASD), ADHD, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
* Assist with personal care needs when necessary.
* Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities.
* Help manage behaviour and encourage positive student engagement.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience supporting SEN children, whether in schools, care settings, or support roles.
* A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with children with diverse needs.
