English Teacher – Secondary School in Southampton
Full-time | Starting September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

Are you a qualified English teacher looking for your next role? Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this opportunity could be a perfect fit.

We are working with a highly regarded, close-knit secondary school in the Southampton area. With over 800 students, the school is known for its supportive leadership, strong community, and positive behaviour. They are now seeking a committed English teacher to join their team from September 2025.

As an English Teacher- Southampton, you will:
* Join a dedicated and experienced English department.
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Inspire a love of English language and literature across a range of abilities.
* Contribute to the school’s inclusive culture and high academic standards.
* Work full-time in a long-term position, with the potential for permanency.

We’re looking for someone who is:
* A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome).
* Confident in teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Passionate about literature, language, and the wider impact of English education.
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, and capable of building strong student relationships.
* A collaborative team member who supports the department and whole school.
