Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Worksop

Academics, a specialist education agency, is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support local schools in Worksop on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a rewarding and dynamic environment.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work school hours from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm
*

Support children on both a 1:1 and group basis
*

Implement creative ideas to enhance student learning
*

Follow the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum
*

Adhere to safeguarding and behaviour policies to ensure pupil safety
*

Contribute to ongoing education and training
*

Work across a variety of schools in Worksop and surrounding areas

What We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Teaching Assistant, you should have:

*

Experience supporting children in a primary classroom (6+ months preferred)
*

A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Desirable)
*

An enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
*

A positive, adaptable, and nurturing attitude
*

A commitment to education and training to enhance your skills
*

The ability to commute across Worksop
