Position: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1 year)
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and passionate Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive Science department in a high-performing secondary school located in the heart of Surrey. This is a maternity cover role for one academic year, with the possibility of teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 – and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience and department needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher who enjoys delivering engaging, innovative lessons and is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
* A team player with a passion for inspiring young scientists
