Position: Music Teacher
Location: Great Dunmow
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent
As a Music Teacher at our school in Great Dunmow, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate will hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have a degree in music or a related field. Experience teaching music at secondary school level is essential, but while QTS is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering high-quality music lessons for KS3 and KS4 students
* Inspiring and nurturing a love for music among pupils
* Encouraging students' creativity and musical development through a wide range of activities
* Preparing students for assessments and helping them achieve their full potential
* Supporting the wider school community by participating in concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
* A degree in music or a related subject
* Experience teaching music across KS3 and KS4
* QTS is preferred but not essential
* Passion for music and the ability to inspire young learners
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
