We are working with a fantastic special school in Croydon, supporting students aged 11-18, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
This is an ideal role for a Health and Social Care Graduate who is passionate about supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students aged 11-18 with their academic, emotional, and social development.
Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and student engagement.
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
Implementing personalised learning and care plans.
What we’re looking for:
A Health and Social Care Graduate with a genuine interest in working in special education.
Some experience with SEN (personal, voluntary or professional) is preferred.
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to learning support.
