We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Individual Needs Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Worthing. This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-to-one with a student, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a school that truly values inclusion and care.

About the Role

As a 1:1 Individual Needs Assistant, you will play a key role in helping a student with additional needs thrive both academically and personally. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to implement individualised support plans and provide consistent encouragement to help the student build confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support to a student with additional needs throughout the school day

Assist with implementing tailored learning activities and support strategies

Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in both academic and social settings
