Maths Teacher - Slough
* A brand new specialist school in Slough are looking for a dedicated Maths teacher to join their new team starting in September 2025!
* They are committed to providing their students with a nurturing and inclusive environment for their students.
* They cater for students between Year 7 and Year 10.
* These students struggle with moderate to significant learning needs and learning disabilities.
* They need additional support in ensuring that they are able to access their education in the best way possible!
* They are looking for a Maths Teacher to inspire and create a warm and safe environment for their students.
* The successful Maths Teacher will also support learners with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across years 7 to 10.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inclusive Maths lessons that have been tailored to individual learning needs.
* Use creative strategies to engage learners and build confidence in their literacy skills
* Work collaboratively with the SEN team, therapists and support staff
* Monitor students progress and contribute to their EHCP's
* Review individual learning plans
* Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment
The successful Maths Teacher:
* Will hold QTS
* Experience teaching Maths, preferably in an SEN setting - mainstream teachers are also welcome!
* Excellent communication skills
* A commitment to student well being
