Key Stage 2 Teacher – Sheffield – Immediate Start – £150 to £180 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher ready to inspire and engage young minds? We are recruiting for a small independent school in Sheffield with a merged class of Year 5 and 6 pupils, offering a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

This role is to start immediately, with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year in September. With a small class of around 18 pupils, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on each child’s learning journey.

* Daily Rate: £150 – £180 (based on experience and qualifications)

Your Role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher:

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 and 6 curriculum
* Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
* Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
* Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
* Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
* Take part in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods

What We’re Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in mixed-age or small class settings
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused learning environment
* A passion for education and training, supporting pupil development and academic progress
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one
