Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

Manage student behaviour to ensure they work in a positive and productive learning environment.
*
Be a role model and foster strong relationships with students and staff.
*
Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
*
Quickly establish rapport with students to support learning.
*
Ensure students remain engaged and on-task during lessons.
*
Adapt to different subjects and year groups across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
Ideal Candidate for the Cover Supervisor Role:

Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).
*
Passionate about supporting students in their learning journey.
*
A degree in any subject (preferable but not essential).
