🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting children and adolescents with mental health and behavioural needs as a school mental health assistant.
* Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions focusing on emotional literacy, trauma recovery, and resilience
* Working closely with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies (e.g. CAMHS, social care)
* Applying psychological theories in real-time to help manage behaviour and promote positive change
* Observing and tracking progress, contributing to behaviour and support planning
🎓 We’re Looking For a Graduate Who:
* Has a degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related subject
* Understands trauma-informed care, ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), or behavioural psychology
* Is passionate about early mental health support and safeguarding
* Wants practical experience ahead of a career in mental health, education, youth work or probation
* Is a reliable, empathetic presence able to build trust with vulnerable student’s
