Psychology Graduate - Mental Health Support

Our lovely school in Headington is looking for a Mental Health Support Assistant to join them in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for their students. They believe that their students deserve the opportunity to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Our amazing specialist school believes every child has the potential to succeed and they are committed to providing the necessary support to help them thrive. They are looking for an enthusiastic Mental Health Support Assistant to join their team ASAP.

As a mental health support assistant your role will include providing individualised support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs. You will foster trusting and supportive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and resilience. You will also provide guidance in emotional regulation and coping strategies and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

This is an amazing opportunity to make a real difference and ensure that all students are receiving the best education they can that aligns with their intervention and health care plans.This role would be especially beneficial to psychology graduates, as you will gain skills necessary to take your career to the next level.
