About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to boost student confidence and engagement.
* Monitor and assess progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and the SENCo.
* Support daily classroom activities while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning space.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience working with children, ideally in an SEN-focused role.
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN to achieve their full potential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and adaptable approach.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential with sufficient classroom experience.
* Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of schools and pupils.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
