1:1 Teaching Assistants needed in Bristol

Do you have a natural rapport with children? Are you dedicated to helping young minds get the best out of their education?

Academics are looking for 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support primary school clients in Bristol, working closely with individual pupils with special educational needs.

This role requires empathy and patience but is extremely statisfying and rewarding.

Working as one of our 1:1 Teaching Assistants across Bristol involves:

* Working hours between 8.30am to 15.30pm (can vary slightly)
* Ongoing education and training opportunities
* Supporting children on a 1:1 basis
* Conducting interventions
* Adhering to behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Regulary record and monitor pupil progress
* Report to the Class Teacher daily
* The ability to use your own initiative
* Encourage and implement a positive and encouraging learning environment
* Understanding individual child's needs and working to avoid potential triggers
* Commuting to local schools in and around Bristol

If you would like to be considered for this post, you must have:

* At least 6 months experience supporting children in an education setting
* A Cache / NVQ Level 2, 3 or 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years, Education or an equivalent to
* Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
* References to cover you last 24 months of employment
