Academics is actively seeking a Qualified Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a vibrant and diverse Secondary Academy in Kingston upon Hull. We are on the lookout for an energetic and dedicated language teacher who can ignite a love for learning languages and help students achieve fluency and confidence in French, Spanish, or German.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), PGCE, or equivalent qualifications in teaching French, Spanish, or German.
* Experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4, with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages.
* Ability to create dynamic and interactive lessons that engage students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in their target language.
* Strong classroom management skills, with a focus on creating an inclusive and communicative learning environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to make learning a new language accessible, fun, and relevant to everyday life.
* Passionate about cultural education, helping students appreciate not only the language but also the customs, history, and context of the countries where the language is spoken.
