Academics Agency is looking for a dedicated SEN Biology Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Derbyshire/Chesterfield, transforming the futures of students who need it most.

Role Highlights:

📌 Position: SEN Science (Biology) Teacher – KS4
📍 Location: Derbyshire/Chesterfield
⏰ Schedule: Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | Temp-to-Perm/Inclusive holiday pay
🎯 Focus: Engaging students with complex social, emotional, and behavioural needs

In this unique setting, you’ll deliver bespoke science lessons to small groups and 1:1 sessions, both on-site and in alternative learning environments (e.g., community spaces, homes). Your expertise will help reignite a love for learning, guiding pupils toward academic success and personal growth.

Who We’re Looking For:

✔ Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with Science/Biology specialism
✔ Experience in SEN/PRU settings (preferred but not essential)
✔ Resilience, creativity, and a student-centered approach
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Right to work in the UK
