The Role:
Are you a positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEND)? Join us as a Supply SEND TA and enjoy the flexibility of working in a range of supportive and dynamic SEND schools across the Hillingdon area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while developing your skills in diverse learning environments.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting SEND pupils both 1:1 and in small group settings
* Adapting quickly to different classrooms and teaching styles
* Encouraging student engagement and creating a positive learning atmosphere
* Collaborating with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Helping to develop pupils’ social and emotional skills while promoting their overall well-being
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEND (preferred)
* A passion for supporting the development and education of pupils with additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to changing situations
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential)
