Teaching Assistant (ASD)– Bath

A primary school in Bath is seeking a Teaching Assistant (ASD) to join their resource base, providing dedicated support to children with autism and related needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (ASD):

* Provide tailored support to children with ASD, helping them develop communication, social, and emotional skills
* Work one-to-one and in small groups, delivering structured learning activities
* Assist with behaviour management and support students in their daily routines
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to ensure a positive learning experience

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with autism or additional needs
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to support, education and training
* An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
