PE Teacher – Secondary School – West London

Academic is delighted to be working with a dynamic secondary school in West London to recruit an energetic and passionate PE Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who is committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, and excellence through high-quality PE teaching.

We are seeking a qualified PE Teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for sport and physical education. The school, based in the heart of West London, is well-regarded for its commitment to student well-being, academic progress, and inclusive education and training.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons as a PE Teacher, supporting students of all abilities.
* Encourage participation in physical activity and develop students’ fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
* Organise extracurricular clubs, inter-school competitions, and sports events.
* Monitor and track student progress, contributing to the school’s wider education and training goals.
* Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff to uphold high teaching standards.

Candidate Requirements:

* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working as a PE Teacher in a secondary school setting is preferred.
* A strong understanding of the PE national curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for promoting physical health and contributing to whole-school education and training initiatives.
