🌟 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – KS2 | Cardiff 🌟
Start Date: May 2025 (Exact date TBC with the school)
Location: Cardiff
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly Key Stage 2 classroom team. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to support all pupils in accessing the curriculum, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

🔍 About the Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
*

Providing 1:1 and small group support as needed
*

Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
*

Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
*

Supporting children with varying needs to achieve their full potential

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Proven experience working in a Primary School setting, ideally within KS2
*

A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or learning support (desirable)
*

A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to working with children and staff
*

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and colleagues
*

An enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) and EWC registration
