Library Assistant – Ealing (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Library Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Ealing. This term-time only role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where education and training are central to student development.

As the Library Assistant in this forward-thinking Ealing school, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic learning community, promoting literacy and supporting students in a welcoming and focused space. Key Responsibilities – Library Assistant, Ealing:

* Support the daily library operations including issuing, returning, and renewing materials
* Provide guidance to students and encourage independent study and research
* Maintain a calm, orderly, and inclusive library environment
* Assist in cataloguing new books and organising existing stock
* Create engaging displays and promotional content to inspire reading
* Provide administrative support as part of the wider school team

Person Specification:

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A passion for learning, literacy, and student engagement
* Confidence in working with young people in a secondary school environment
* A team player with a can-do attitude and attention to detail
* Previous experience in a library or educational setting is desirable
