This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a brand-new school provision and be part of a passionate, forward-thinking team.

* Conduct assessments, write therapy plans and professional reports, including EHCP input
* Support staff in creating communication-friendly classrooms
* Deliver 1:1, group, and in-class sessions
* Provide training and coaching for teaching and support staff
* Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure a consistent approach

Essential Requirements

* Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
* Experience with children with Autism and/or complex communication needs
* Knowledge of evidence-based practice and therapeutic approaches
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

* Experience in a school-based or new provision setting
* Familiarity with AAC, PECS, Makaton or TEACCH
