A welcoming, vibrant primary school located in Odd Down are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support children’s learning in Foundation stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is an appealing opportunity for a graduate teaching assistant to kick start their career in the education sector whilst gaining a deeper understanding of the curriculum development and classroom dynamic.

About the Graduate Teaching Assistant role
* Assist with young people’s learning across the national curriculum in core subjects such as Math’s and English to foundation subjects such as PE and Music.
* A perfect stepping stone for an individual whose ambition is to become a qualified teacher.
What we need from you
* A recent graduate with 2:2 or above.
* Experience working with children – for example tutoring, coaching, mentoring, childcare, assisting in a nursery, or similar experience within a classroom.
* Confident to converse with parents, students and members of the public
* Enthusiastic and passionate about making a different in the lives of children with special educational needs
* Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour
