Design Technology Teacher – April/September 2025
Salary: £37,141 to £50,471 per annum / £160 to £260 per day
A well-respected secondary school in Staines is seeking a motivated and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join their faculty from April/September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative teacher to inspire students in the ever-evolving world of computing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Teach a range of DT disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering.
* Guide students in GCSE and A-Level coursework and assessments.
* Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through practical projects.
* Maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment in the workshop.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology, Product Design, or Engineering.
* Experience using CAD software and workshop tools is desirable.
* Passion for creative, technical, and practical education.
This position offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time roles available, either on a supply or permanent basis.
