Year 5 Teacher – Two Form Entry Mainstream Primary School – Wood Green

Are you passionate about providing high-quality education to Key Stage 2 children? We are working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Wood Green seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join their dedicated team. This role focuses on delivering engaging and impactful lessons that inspire a love of learning and equip students with the skills and knowledge they need for future success.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of your students. With a strong emphasis on core subjects (English, Maths, Science), you will help create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Location: Wood Green, North London
Position: Year 5 Teacher – Mainstream Primary School

Duration: Summer Term with option to go permanent in September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 5 students.

Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports students’ academic progress and social well-being.
*

Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted interventions and support to meet individual learning goals.

Collaborate with colleagues, including teaching assistants and the SENCO, to deliver a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
*

Design and implement lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring a broad and balanced education for all students.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching KS2 students in a primary school setting is essential.
*

A thorough understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the ability to differentiate instruction to support diverse learners is highly desirable.
