KS1 Teaching Assistant - Canterbury
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing
Salary: £90-£120 Per day

Are you an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new role local to you in Canterbury?

Do you have experience of supporting children on a 1:1 basis across Key Stage 1?
KS1 Teaching Assistant - Canterbury
Successful candidates can start ASAP and work through to the end of the school year, with the potential of this being extended and becoming a permanent member of staff.
Successful Candidates will:
* Have a team player approach
* Be adaptable and flexible
* Have experience of supporting children of all learning abilities
* Have strong behaviour management and good communication skills
* Provide continued support for the teacher within a chosen classroom
* To carry out one to one and/or small group work with students
* Providing tuition and booster sessions with pupils working at a lower ability or on the Special Educational Needs register
You will:
* Have either a Degree or Masters
* Experience on your CV where you have worked with students in some capacity (ie Youth Work/ Teaching Assistant/ University Ambassador/ Graduate Tutor, etc).
* Passionate about working in a school
* Be ambitious with a strong yet also outgoing and warm personality
* Imperative that you are flexible and adaptable
* Have experience of working in KS1 Classroom Settings
