The Role – English Teacher
As an English Teacher at our school in Colchester, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in fostering a love for literature and language while ensuring students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Inspire and motivate students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
* Contribute to the English department’s curriculum development and teaching strategies
* Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
