What Does a Secondary Teaching Assistant Do?

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both teachers and students in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping Teachers – Assist with lesson delivery, classroom management, and creating a positive learning environment.
Supporting Students – Provide guidance, encouragement, and extra help to students who need it.
Adapting to Different Schools – Work in a variety of settings, gaining a broad range of experience.

What We’re Looking For:

A Level 3 qualification related to education or childcare
A valid DBS certificate (or willing to apply for one)
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with students
Availability from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
