Academics is partnering with a highly regarded 2-Form Entry Primary School in Redbridge, London, to find a dedicated ECT who is ready to go the extra mile to meet the needs of students across all primary school subjects. The Senior Leadership Team is committed to offering continuous support, ensuring every ECT has the resources and guidance necessary for success. Teachers at this school are valued and supported throughout their careers in a nurturing environment. You will be encouraged to take part in various professional development opportunities, including CPD sessions and collaborative planning with colleagues.

Position: Primary School ECT
Location: Redbridge, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent
Full-Time: 5 days per week
Choice of Year Group: EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Salary: MPS1 – MPS2 (£36,412 – £38,318)
School Type: 2-Form Entry School
Ofsted Rating: 'Good' to 'Outstanding'
QTS Required

Key Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher (ECT):

* Planning and Delivering: Develop and deliver engaging, effective lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
* Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes student learning and good behaviour.
* Assessing Student Progress: Regularly assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching methods as necessary to support their development.
* Supporting Student Development: Foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, providing support where needed and encouraging independence.
* Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for all students.
