Position: Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)
Location: Primary School in Wandsworth
Start Date: 21/04/25
Salary: £37,000 - £54,000
Contract Type: Part time 2 days a week up until the end of the Summer term

Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children can thrive. The school are dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of their pupils and are currently seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and assess pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and implement tailored support plans.
* Provide guidance and support to staff on best practices in SEN teaching and intervention strategies.
* Work closely with parents and external agencies to develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Monitor and track the progress of students with SEND and report on outcomes.
* Ensure that the school's SEND policy is effectively implemented and regularly updated.
* Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel supported and valued.
