Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support to students as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects.
* Maintain classroom control and behaviour management to ensure a productive learning environment.
* Support students with their learning and provide guidance where necessary.
* Follow school policies and procedures to uphold a positive and structured classroom environment.
* Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth learning experience for students.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with young people in a classroom or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills.
* A proactive, adaptable, and confident approach.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (the school is not easily accessible by public transport).
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
