1:1 Teaching Assistant – Thanet
Academics, Thanet are currently working with a reputable secondary school in Thanet who are seeking dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with students in a one-on-one capacity, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with an assigned student to support their academic and personal development.
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans as directed by the classroom teacher/SEN Lead.
* Provide feedback to the teacher/SEN Lead on student progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working with children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience and empathy when working with students.
* Ability to follow instruction and work effectively as part of a team.
* Ideally you will have 1 of the following…
* A degree qualification
* Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
