A primary school in Slough are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. Teacher training will be an option upon the successful completion of the academic year.

The role:
By working in a classroom setting, you will learn all the relevant skills needed to become an outstanding teacher. You will learn how to best support students with their academic tasks as well as those students with EHCPs (Education and Health Care Plans). You will also help support the class teacher with general classroom duties such as preparing lesson materials and general classroom behaviour management.
All these skill are sure to come in handy when applying for any teacher training courses.
The ideal candidate:
The successful candidate will be resilient, caring and passionate about helping students reach their academic milestones. Experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Personality and attitude is important as these children will highly benefit from being supported by a strong-willed individual.
Those with a background in psychology, sociology, drama, art and sports are encouraged to apply.
