Speech and Language Therapist - Aldershot

We are a well-established and highly regarded SEN school in Aldershot, providing outstanding education and support to students with a range of complex learning needs. Our dedicated and caring team creates a nurturing environment, empowering students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our team in Aldershot. As an SLT, you will be responsible for assessing and providing therapy to students with communication challenges. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and deliver tailored interventions that support students' individual needs.

Key Responsibilities- Speech and Language Therapist:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication needs.
* Develop and implement individual therapy plans in line with students’ EHCPs (Education, Health, Care Plans).
* Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor progress regularly.
* Offer education and training to staff members on strategies to support communication in the classroom.
* Work with other professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and educational professionals.

Requirements- Speech and Language Therapist:

* A degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
* HCPC registration and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
* Proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A passion for helping students overcome barriers to communication and learning.
