Academics Ltd is currently recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development across the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in helping children thrive and reach their full potential during their crucial early years of education.
Key Details:
* Teaching Assistant
* ASAP
* Mainstream Primary
* Cheltenham
* £80-£95 per day
* Full-time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) – Term Time only
* Clear DBS (or willingness to apply)
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.
* Provide tailored support to children with additional needs to help them achieve their full potential.
* Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
* Support students individually or in small groups, offering additional guidance when needed.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
* A passion for education and working with young learners.
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
* The ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff members.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* An Enhanced DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
