Primary Teaching Assistant Role Overview:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children within the classroom during lessons in the morning. In the afternoons, you'll take charge of running small group interventions aimed at supporting children with SEN, ASD, and ADHD. Your work as a Primary Teaching Assistant will help ensure that every child is able to thrive and make progress in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teaching Assistant:

* Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Support children with SEN, ASD, and ADHD in their learning, helping them to stay focused and engaged
* Run tailored interventions in the afternoon to boost individual skills and confidence
* Provide one-on-one support for children who need extra help, adapting learning resources as needed
* Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels valued and understood
* Monitor and record student progress and share feedback with the teacher

What We’re Looking For From a Primary Teaching Assistant:

* Professional or personal experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, and ADHD (or a genuine passion to learn)
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with young children
