* Collaborative Approach: Work alongside teachers and SENCo to tailor learning strategies and activities to the specific needs of children with SEMH difficulties.
* Promote Well-being: Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages children to express their feelings and engage with their learning.

About You as a SEMH Teaching Assistant:

* Empathy & Patience: You’ll bring a compassionate, calm, and non-judgmental approach to your work.
* Experience with SEMH or Mental Health Support: Ideally, you’ll have experience working with children facing emotional or mental health difficulties. However, training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
* Positive Attitude: A genuine desire to help children achieve their best, regardless of the challenges they may face.
* Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create the best learning environment possible.

Why Work in this School as a SEMH Teaching Assistant?

* Impactful Role: You will be making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
* Professional Development: We offer ongoing training and development to help you grow in your role.
* Supportive Environment: Join a warm, supportive team that values the well-being and development of both staff and students.
