Learning Support Assistant

This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of teaching, psychology, criminology, sociology, social work, probation services, care or if you simply love working with children.

A passionate and dedicated school in Haywards Heath are looking for and SEN Teaching Assistant to support the needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, ASD, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties. This school supports and teaches the ages of pupils of 5-11 years.

The majority of pupils that move to this school have had previous behavioural challeneges, but by given the right environment and support, every child can flourish. They do not aim to replicate a mainstream school approach, rather they try to consider what approaches the particular pupils need, to achieve their full potential.
