Sports Coach / PE Teacher - SEMH School - Basingstoke - ASAP/April Start
Academics is looking for an experienced and engaging Sports Coach / PE Teacher to join an SEMH School in Basingstoke starting ASAP/April. This is a full-time, temp to perm role and is open to both Qualified and Unqualified PE Teachers / Sports Coach's.
The school caters for pupils aged 10 to 16 years old (boys and girls) with social, emotional and mental health needs and other complex needs such as autism. The suitable person will be someone with strong behaviour management skills. You will require an empathetic but strong nature and be able to build strong, positive relationships with the pupils.
The successful Sports Coach / PE Teacher will be required to plan and deliver exciting PE lessons across the school to pupils in KS3 and KS4. The class sizes are much smaller than in a mainstream setting due to the nature of the needs of the pupils.
