Secondary Maths Teacher – Thanet
Academics’ Canterbury branch have been approached by a secondary school in Thanet, Kent to support them in sourcing a Teacher of Maths to start on the 22nd April 2025. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to deliver Key Stage 3 and 4 maths. The school are offering a long-term contract which may turn permanent.

Role Description:
* Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
* Planning and implementing engaging and challenging lessons
* Monitoring and assessing student progress
* Providing timely feedback and support to students
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop the Maths curriculum
* Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4
* Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passionate about helping students succeed
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
Contract Details:
* Long-term contract position
