A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Halesowen is seeking a passionate MFL Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Spanish, French, and/or German to students across KS3 and KS4. We are looking for a dedicated educator who is committed to inspiring a love for languages and helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
As an MFL Teacher, you will:
✅ Teach French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging a passion for languages and cultural understanding.
✅ Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum to maximise students’ language proficiency.
✅ Support pupils in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
✅ Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual learners, creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold high teaching and learning standards within our school community.
Ideal Candidate for a MFL teacher based in Halesowen:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Modern Foreign Languages.
✔ Experience teaching Spanish and French, preferably at the secondary level.
✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a commitment to supporting students’ language learning journey.
✔ An organised and motivated teacher available to start immediately in Halesowen.
