Maths Teacher - (SEMH & ASC) - Fareham
Academics are recruiting on behalf of a small school in Fareham which caters for pupils aged 14-19 years, specialising in both social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autism (ASC). They currently have 27 pupils on roll who are preparing to transition into further education, or working towards a career.
They are looking for a passionate Maths Teacher who is able to plan and deliver Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
All students have an EHCP and are offered tailored qualifications and experiences including vocational subjects, functional skills and GCSEs.
The suitable Maths Teacher will ideally have experience of supporting young people with SEMH and/or ASC, although not essential.
This is an on-going, temp to perm position starting ASAP.
